It really flatters me that I,m going to correspond with a citizen of Italy, since your motherland has contributed to my life a lot.
A compatriot of yours, painter Michelangelo Merisi (Caravaggio) easily convinced me of how attractive the man who preferred to walk barefoot could be.
I aspired to become as strong and patient as they were, and I decided to walk barefoot all the year round, keeping my foot bare at any weather and under any circumstance. 

I wanted to be ultimately honest to the world around me, and feel its moisture, soil, severe cold, slush and dirt with the skin of my own bare soles, so no shoes could even touch them anymore.
I hope that with your kind assistance I will learn Italien with its barefoot people still better. At the same time, it is very important for me to know what you would like to learn about me, about Russia, and what you may find attractive in my decision to live barefoot, and what my "barefoot way of life" may vean to you ("I love to go barefoot all
the time as a lifestyle choice").
